Love is in the air these days…at least the kind of love that produces a baby nine months later.  First came Jamie Lynn Spears, and now Lily Allen is the latest celebrity to have a bun in the oven. 

The baby-faced twenty-two year old was knocked up by Chemical Brothers member Ed Simons, who is her elder by fifteen years.

Ms. Allen recently received a Best Alternative Album Grammy nom for Alright, Still. 

“I am pleased to confirm that Lily Allen and her boyfriend Ed Simons are expecting their first child,” quoteth her rep in a statement, courtesy of E! ”However, as the pregnancy is at a very, very early stage, the couple ask that you respect their privacy, as the health of Lily and their child is their paramount concern.”

And have no fear, the rep also confirmed that her next album will still be released in 2008.
