Report: Gemma Arterton Confirmed For Next James Bond Movie

According to published reports, relative newcomer Gemma Arterton has been confirmed as the latest Bond girl in the upcoming movie, which is tentatively referred to as…Bond 22. 

Rumor has is that the title will be changed to 007, but there’s neither here nor there at the moment.  What is known is Daniel Craig will be starring and Stranger Than Fiction’s Marc Forster is directing. 

Empire reports that they have “learned from a source who’s in a position to be absolutely sure that this casting is 100% true.”  And the pub does has a decent track record with such matters.

However, what’s yet to be known is if Ms. Arterton will be Daniel Craig’s main squeeze, a la Eva Green in Casino Royale, or merely a side snack.
