Johnny Depp Wants In On High School Musical 3

High School Musical 3 Vanessa Hudgens Zac Efron If Disney asked, Johnny Depp has said he would be more than happy to join Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron in High School Musical 3.

While promoting Sweeney Todd, Depp’s first live-action musical venture, Entertainment Tonight asked if he would consider joining the High School Musical 3 cast.

“Yeah!” he declared. ”I’d play somebody’s grandfather!” Let’s face it — the man was probably being facetious. He’s only forty-four years old and currently dad to two young children, Lily-Rose Melody and Jack…hardly grandpa material.

Depp is currently receiving Oscar buzz for his breathtaking performance as the title character in Sweeney Todd. The film was recently honored with a Best Director award from the National Board Of Review.
