Nintendo Wii Remote: Now With 87% Less Slippery!
Published by Robert Staehlin October 3rd, 2007 in Gaming, Nintendo, Wii.All Wii gamers have experienced the trauma of having their remote slip out of their sweaty mitts.
The smart ones always make sure to have their strap on tight as a second line of defense, but Nintendo has now added a new level of defense against slippery hands — the Wii Remote Jacket.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve our products and make sure everyone has a safe and fun experience,” says George Harrison, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. “Many electronics manufacturers provide similar protective covers for products like cell phones, PDAs and MP3 players.”
The protective covering will be 100% free and will start shipping from the company on October 15, 2007. All you have to is have your serial number ready and fill out the form at the official site here. The company will ship up to four jackets per console.
