Real estate mogul Donald Trump has declared that he’s actively courting Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan to compete on Celebrity Apprentice, his upcoming new television series.

The Donald told the New York Post that ”We’re negotiating with Britney right now. Can you imagine her doing it?” he said. “We’re not sure what will happen. She’s a [expletive] mess. And that little reality show she had did nothing. But she likes the idea of being on television and I think she’d be great.”

As for Paris Hilton, he claims that he “wants to be on, and we’re thinking about it, but I don’t know if we’re going to do it.”  And although he’s expressed interest in Lindsay Lohan, the LA Times is reporting that she has yet to be approached. 

So far, the highest profile celebs he has lined up for the series  are Carmen Electra, Kimora Lee Simmons, Joan Rivers, Naomi Judd and George Foreman.    Not quite the same level of celebrity as the holy trinity that Mr. Trump is wooing, that’s for sure.
