When it comes to potential suitors, singer Rihanna has the ultimate screening service: Jay-Z. 

“I just found out from a mutual friend that guys will talk to Jay first before they try to approach me,” she told People Magazine. 

But she doesn’t mind at all.  In fact, Rihanna appreciates the concern from the man who discovered her and help propel her to superstar status.

“He’s very protective,” she explained.  ”Jay has my best interests in mind. If it’s a good guy I know Jay won’t shut him down. But if he’s not, Jay will be like, ‘No, no, no.’ ”

With the quality of men that have been approaching me lately, I wonder if Hova might be willing to oursource his filtration services.  

Rihanna never even gets to find out the identity of the rejected suitors. “He actually never tells me. I have no clue who they are and I guess I’ll never know.”
