Britney Spears is one of the few people that can write a letter on her website humbly thanking people for their prayers while at the same time appearing topless. 

The pop icon has had a tough time of it lately, having survived a breakup with Kevin Federline, shaving her head, and making an appearance at rehab.  Oh, and losing that baby weight couldn’t have been a particularly fun time, either.   But everybody’s prayers have apparently helped her immensely.   

“The reason for this letter is to let everyone know that their prayers have helped me,” wrote Spears on Britneyspears.com.

“I am so blessed that you care enough about me to be concerned and will continue to live in this brighter state with all of you by my side during this trying time. We are all lights of the world and we all need to continuously inspire others and look to the higher power. You are all in my prayers. Godspeed. Love Britney.”
