Phil Spector accused of the 2003 shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson.

A woman who knew Phil Spector in the 1980s has offered potentially damaging testimony at his murder trial.

Appearing May 7 in a Los Angeles courtroom, music talent coordinator Dianne Ogden said the famous pop producer attempted to rape her in 1989.

She said he held a gun to her head as she tried to leave his house after a party. “He was screaming at me, the F-word,” she said. “He wasn’t my Phil, not the man I loved. It wasn’t him. He was demonic. It scared the hell out of me.”

Prosecutors are attempting to establish emotional instability on the part of the 67-year-old Spector, accused of the 2003 shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson.

Ogden was the second woman to testify on the prosecution’s behalf.

Spector, famed for his “Wall of Sound” production technique, has pleaded not guilty. Defense attorneys argue that Clarkson shot herself.
