Hang On, More Nintendo Wii On The Way

President Satoru Iwata says more Wii production comingStarting to give up hope of finding a Wii before next Christmas rolls around?  Don’t give up yet.

“We must do our best to fix this abnormal lack of (Nintendo Wii) stock,”  President Satoru Iwata recently told reporters. “We have not been able to properly foresee demand.” 

He promised that efforts to increase production is currently happening,  but wouldn’t disclose the monthly production capacity for the Wii, and also acknowledged it was too early to give numbers to show how much the production was being raised.

“We will do our best to offer the machine for those who are waiting,” said Iwata. 

Nintendo recently released figures for the last fiscal year which showed sales nearly doubled, due to both Wii and DS.
