Update on Condition of New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine
Published by Staff April 23rd, 2007 in World.Head of Trauma at Cooper University Hospital, this afternoon released the following statement on the condition of Governor Jon S. Corzine:
“New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine remains in critical but stable condition in the trauma intensive care unit at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ.”
“He continues to improve and the doctors are pleased with his progress.”
“The Governor continues to breathe on his own. The tube on the right side of his chest has been removed. As mentioned earlier, the Governor was showing some signs of tracheo-bronchitis. This is being effectively treated with antibiotics.”
“He is able to converse easily with family and staff. Today, he also began a regular diet. He shows no evidence of any other complication.”
