  1. 1 TBONE

Problem is with the precision controller is that it operates at the same frequency as wireless-g. That’s going to cause some problems with users who are using their PS3 wireless internet connection while using logitech’s new controller. It’s bad enough when you have a 2.4ghz wireless phone around never mind when the frequency’s are trying to communicate with the same machine. Bad call.

  2. 2 Tbone=Nub

Actually Tbone, the controller will not interfere with the PS3’s wireless connection. I have a PS2 with two of the logitech wireless controllers which uses the same 2.4Ghz frequency. I have a wireless bridge hooked into my PS2 for wireless connectivity, and I have zero problems whatsoever with online gaming. This is why there are several different channels in the frequency range so that if you do get conflicts, you can change the channel to avoid them. This is also why all wireless phones have a channel button on them as well.
