Ravens Waive Buh Bye To Jamal Lewis

But Ravens manager Ozzie Newsome is still hopeful that they can work a deal out withLewis, who was due afive milliondollarroster bonus on March 3as wellas his $5 million base salary for the 2007 season.
“We are involved in negotiations with Jamal Lewis, and there has been good dialogue. Jamal has been a significant contributor to us in the last seven seasons. It’s our hope to have him back with the Ravens,” general manager Ozzie Newsome told USA Today.
Heis currentlythe team’s all-time leading rusher with 7,801 yards.
