Wii Rhythm Game From EA, but no mat like Dance Dance RevolutionAccording to an unconfirmed report, Wii is going to get a rhythm game from Electronic Arts (EA). The new Nintendo Wii title would be an exclusive from the publisher, and will be an entirely new property.

Here’s how Random Nintendo describes the upcoming title:

The currently untitled Wii project is under development at EA’s Montreal studio. The game, which reportedly has a 1970s vibe, will have players control dancers by moving both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. While it may sound similar to Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Mix, one of the main differences appears to be the lack of a dance pad for EA’s game.

No dancepad? Looks like we’re going to have to shaking our Wiimotes and Nunchucks in a crazy-type fashion. Naturally, treat this as unconfirmed until there’s a more meaty announcement, but we’ll keep in shape just in case this one ever sees the light of day.
