Murdoch: Borat 2 Is A Go

Sacha Baron Cohen will be making sexy time once again — a Borat sequel has been confirmed by none other thanFox’s head honcho Rupert Murdoch.
Speaking about Borat 2, Murdoch told a gatheringsponsored by McGraw-Hill, “He’s signed up to do a sequel for us.”
He confided that he was a big fan of Sacha Baron Cohen’seccentric style of humor and had seenBorat multiple times.Sure, about three times. … We laughed like hell. We went out to dinner and laughed all over again.
South Park creator Matt Stone previously publicly stated that he didn’t think a sequel could be possible.
“He can’t do a Borat sequel, but people will want to see a Sacha Baron Cohen sequel,” said Stone. “People are going to want to see another movie like this, and he’s actually the only person in the world who can do it.”
“The day I saw the movie, I told Sacha, ‘Forget about Borat, you’vef***ed that character every way you can - now go do a Bruno movie,”
Mr. Cohen is currently signed with Universal to make that Bruno film, for which he will paid a reported $42.5 million. What this means forBorat 2 is still unknown.
