Hours later, she was found dead in her home of water intoxication, after reportedly drinking an inordinate amount of water as a part of the radio stunt.
Even after drinking almost two gallons, she didn’twin the Nintendo Wii; she came in second and had received tickets to a Justin Timberlake contest.
Now the family is suing, and Sacramento attorney Roger Dreyer has no intentions of settling out of court. He wants to make sure that this kind of tragedy never happens again.
“There isn’t going to be a settlement,” he said. “There’s going to be a venting in a public forum. That’s what we want, and that’s what the family wants.”
