PS3 Fights Wii, Xbox 360 With Price Cut

Sony has been feeling heat o’ plenty ever since it announced the pricing for its much-anticipated PS3. Xbox 360 had a much more wallet-friendly price, and the cost for Wii was even lower than that. So Sony decided to do the proactive thing and announce a massive 20% cut for PlayStation 3.
Problem is, it’s only in Japan — and just the low-end model, at that. PlayStation 3, set to launch in Japan on November 11, will now sell the 20-gigabyte model for 49,980 yen ($430), 20% lower than the previously announced 62,790 yen ($540). To compare, Xbox 360 costs 39,795 yen ($342) in the land of the rising sun, while Wii will retail for 25,000 yen ($215) when it launches on December 2.
“This will drive PS3’s unit sales,” said Hirokazu Hamamura, president of Japanese game magazine publisher Enterbrain. “It is still more expensive than its rivals, but the revision has put the machine within the allowable range of game machine prices.”
There’s no word yet on whether this will affect any other regions of the globe.

I don’t believe with Xbox 360 and PS3, that will break easily. That will live short of system’s life about 1 to 4 years will blow off. It will can not work anymore. I believe that Nintendo Wii Will live longer than Xbox 360 and PS3! But our goal is Nintendo for a longest time in now and future! It can live up about 5 to 20 years! But Hard drive is not good reason can easily blow up cause lost our files of saving like such as pictures, special files, games saved, and more about 2 to 6 years that hard drive will blow up then we will become very very angry and yell like HELL!!! Very serious! We will not happy of that! But need powerful memory card like build in it like such as USB flash driver’s life can live longer than hard drive’s life! True story! Some people believe me are right answer!
