Is the mystery launch title for PS3 not The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion after all? Yesterday we reported that 1UP’s podcast had allegedly spilled the beans that Oblivion was coming to PlayStation 3.

Well were getting so close to the PS3 and they still havent shown the PS3 version which is apparently a launch title and I think everyones curious what it has thats different, if anything, one of the podcasters had commented while discussing the title.

Website qj.net, after learning of the development, has come out vehemently denying that Bethesda’s title is the game everybody’s wondering about. According to their “reliable ‘inside’ source, the recently announced title that will be revealed in the November issue of OPM is not Oblivion!”

“However, I can confirm that the title taking its place will surely not let PS3 owners down! I will not reveal the title today however since I love consumers in suspense, and leaking the information early is never a good thing!” declared “Justin B.”

Naturally, anonymous sources aren’t exactly the bastion of reliable information, but that’s their story and they’re sticking to it.
